1How do I book?

You can book by e-mail, booking form or telephone. After your initial enquiry we will confirm availability with you and make a provisional booking.

You then need to confirm your acceptance in writing, or by email, and pay a deposit of £50 within seven days – bank transfer (preferred), cheque, credit / debit card or cash are all fine.

Once that is complete we will finalise your booking with our confirmation.

2Can I book a short break (less than a week)?

Yes, our cottages are available for short breaks but these are only available for booking within three weeks of arrival.

3What is included?
  • All cottages include TVs, DVD player and CD player. Many of the bedrooms also have their own televisions.
  • Free Wi Fi access.
  • All bed linen, including duvets, are provided.
  • One soft bath sheet, hand towel and facecloth is provided per guest.
  • There is a good supply of tea, instant coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and washing up liquid.
  • Soap, toilet paper, tissues, kitchen roll, tea towels and dish cloths are also provided.
  • All heating and electricity is included.

The Laundry has three washing machines, two tumble dryers, an airing rack, irons and ironing boards. Washing powder is provided:

  • Payphone, books, brochures, maps and games are also located in the Laundry.
  • There is a freezer in the Laundry with home-prepared meals for guests to purchase.
  • A range of jams, marmalade and honey can be found in the Laundry. These are available to buy.

If you are staying for more than one week your cottage will be tidied and your linen and towels changed on a weekly basis.

4What equipment for babies and young children do you provide?

Cots, high chairs and stair gates are available on request. Cot linen can also be provided on request, although guests generally bring their own.

5How do I pay?
  • Payment may be made by bank transfer (preferred), cheque, credit / debit card, or cash.
  • After paying your initial deposit the balance is due four weeks before arrival.
  • Cancellation fees: If you cancel more than four weeks before arrival we will retain your deposit of £50.
  • If you cancel less than four weeks before you arrive we need to charge the full rental price unless the cottage can be re-let. We recommend you take out insurance to cover this eventuality. If we are able to re-let the cottage your payment (less the deposit) will be refunded to you.
  • All our prices are inclusive of VAT, which is charged at the current rate.
6Can I start my booking on any day of the week?

Lettings usually commence on a Friday but we try to offer flexibility when it is needed. If a Friday arrival doesn’t work for you please get in touch.

7What time can I arrive?

Your cottage will normally be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival but we may be able to agree an earlier arrival time if needed. Just get in touch to check.

8What time do I need to leave?

Please vacate your cottage by 10.00am.

9Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is ample parking next to each of the cottages.

10Are there disabled facilities?
Both Parsons and Sherwin are wheelchair accessible downstairs and offer ground floor bedrooms, with large en-suite bathrooms, including showers.

Brooke and Wainwright are both ground floor apartments, all on one level and wheelchair accessible. Please do get in touch to discuss your needs.

12Can I bring a pet?
  • Well-behaved pets, including dogs, are welcome and there are some wonderful walks around the farm for dogs.
  • Please clear up after your pets on any mown areas.
  • Please dispose of bagged animal waste in the black bins beside the laundry.
  • Pets must not be left unattended in any cottage except by prior arrangement.
  • There is a charge of £25 per week for each pet.
